A snowy Sunday at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston saw 21 GLRR youth team members compete in the Northeast Indoor Classic. A group of returnees and newcomers excelled against the best in the northeast in the first major meet of the season. Below you will find a link to the final official individual results.
GLRR's performance was by far the best in the history of this meet. Four GLRR team members who had previously received and accepted invitations to compete in next week's Zone Indoor Championship in New York turned in outstanding performances. They are co-captain Makayla Paige, newly named co-captain Kimmie Harding, newly named assistant captain Torrence Borletto, and Colin Suh,
Newly named co-captain Olivia Hall earned 3 medals and earned an invitation to join her teammates in New York.
Harry Apgar, competing with GLRR for the first time, finished 3rd overall in the 200 meters in 28:14.
Thomas Neary, a returning veteran, finished a strong 5th in the grueling Pentathlon.
