GLRR Youth Team Heads to Nationals

The Greater Lowell Youth Team, led by Coach Joe Ferris, are once again headed to the Junior Olympics Cross Country Nationals after a strong showing in the Regionals.  The Regionals were held in Augusta, ME on November 23rd.  The 7-8 year old boys followed up their win in the New England Championships with a 2nd place in the region.  The team was led by Seamus Tully, who finished 11th overall with a 9:04 for 2K.  These 7 boys will be joined by 4 young ladies who qualified with their individual efforts.  The top finisher was Cassidy Paige, who finished 5th in for 7-8 year old girls with a 8:57.

The Junior Olympics Nationals will take place on December 13th in Myrtle Beach, SC.
